  • Hello, I have a couple of questions about the vid: why do you pass twice over the same spot, first very fast on one direction and then at a normal speed in the opposite? Where is the slag? I can't see it but it must be there, somewhere. Why are you jumping the electrode up/down (or fore/aft) around 2:13, any reason? I'm still learning so I just ask...

  • I didn't watch all of the video again but I did look at 2:13 and whipping the rod is common when the keyhole starts to open up a bit. I am trying to hang to the top somewhat it looks like because gravity is naturally weighing on the puddle causing it to sag to the bottom of the root pass. Going over it was maybe just to add some extra metal or burn something out of the way. Thanks

  • beautiful root pass @ 4:44.

    i disagree with any criticism.

    good production weld.

  • I love your screen name. Love to talk to you about Jesus sometime. I am a Pastor of a United Pentecostal Church.

most people don't even know what the rapture is. Acts 2:38

  • FKing beautiful welds bro....

  • Thanks so much for your kind words.

  • Yet again! Put your money where your mouths are. Make your own video's showing yourselves welding better than this guy. Otherwise, you're just another jack-off trolling these threads. Later Losers.

  • This guy doesnt know anything about welding certificates, do not imitate this guy pls. Creeting from finland, where best of the best welders live!

  • everyone is so stuck on coded pipe welds like they are welding on the alaskan oil pipeline.code welds are for bridges and big structures.for everything else a field weld is fine.fact is, even a weld at 75/80 percent of its ultimate strength is still superior to the haz and material around it.i non code welded the arm on the bucket of a jd 310c.it gets used by a few different people and beat on regularly.that was 2 years ago. give the guy some credit.a weld like thats good for any field repair
