Fun! I wish I had a tape of my mum pulling this on me. Though obviously consumer-level digital nonlinear editing programmes were quite hard to come by in the mid 80s...

haha i was never told santa exists, but st nick does mwahahaha!

Christmas spirit... Blah whoever still follows this Christamas belief is under a Pagan god and under a curse. I was fed lies about this shit, can't believe I believed it. It's a good time to get together with family but other then that it's bull shit.

The one and only bone of contention I've ever had with the Evolutionary Biologist Richard Dawkins was his former opinion that kids OUGHT NOT be told that Santa is fictive. There are physical logistics to a proposition of a man of such girth ,gaining ingress into a narrow flue.Reason trumps whimsical reverie.

djnross, I would have to agree. Imagination has stirred Science as well as inventions and reasoning. Frankly, my daydream world at times is my greatest survivor. It really helps me find a place to just rest and partly because I am so emotionally involved in life. I think kids should have some life experience in the fiction. Its a balance, of course...but life is too brutal to not have known this when young. ~Raven
