when you listen pieces like this Communion, theres'no need to sing nothing: in many cases this is the real "actuosa participatio"

The fugue is almost a cross between Frescobaldi and Vierne!

Magical. The improv in the second half is just superb. This organ simply doesn't sound like this any more, especially here with the principal flues in the manuals and the soft but penetrating subbass on the Pedale. Thanks for posting.

FY-Solstice music label has all Pierre Cochereau's recordings in its catalogue, also very interesting, a dvd and a book dedicated to him.

Can you please tell me where can I find those recordings from the 70s?

Can you tell me please where can I get those recordings from the 70s?
Does anyone know if it possible to request the recording of an organ concert at Notre-Dame at a special date in 1973?
Thank you for your comment. Where can I find those recordings from the 70s? I have been searching for them for quite a time ?
