  • should have won 12 votes from ireland

  • The Best Spanish Entry Ever. Much superior to Tu te reconnaitras which is now almost forgotten. Whereas Eres tu remains an Evergreen and known in five continents.

  • EXACTLY what I was thinking, Pandora - Drew Barrymore!

  • Can't get over how the lead female singer reminds me of Drew Barrymore.

    Strong resemblance.

  • I like this song since 1973!

  • It may have come in 2nd ina European Contest, but at one time, it came in 1st at American Bandstand. Which is where I heard this song for the first time.

  • great song! it was a big hit in the philippines back in '74 and still is a regular on some radio stations. first time i've seen a video of the group, though. the lead singer is so lovely...

  • That side-mirror effect at 1:11 almost had me fooled. At first I thought, "Wow, that's a lot of singers!"

  • Eres Tu should have won but then again in this competition they never vote for quality just trash.

  • nice song, but what a strange accent :///

  • I watched the 1973 Eurovision Song Contest. I like Tu te Reconnaitras and Eres Tu. But this song is something special- a song of lasting quality.

  • Stevwatson,

You are entitled to your opinion that Tu te reconnaitras is the best song ever, but bear

in my mind that the winning song of 1973 is

barely remembered today and the fact that

Eres Tu has sold more singles than Tu te

    reconnaitras.Erest tu remains popular in

the four corners of the world. For example,

in Asia it is still played in the radios.
