Diverse Communities Make Minnesota the Highest Voter Turnout in the Nation in 2008 at 75.86%. This series shows the diverse communities who are actively involved in voter registration, voting, and who demonstrate the hard work that makes Minnesota the highest voter turnout in the nation.

Part 2 was filmed in Frontenac Township in Minnesota at Florence Town Hall on October 27, 2008. Judy Johnson, President of Friends of the Florence Town Hall and Evelyn Kiester, it's Charter Member, describe the grassroots form of governing in a Minnesota township.

Since Florence Town Hall was erected in 1875, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is Minnesota's oldest continually used Town Hall. They describe the voting process at Florence Town Hall using 1875 voting booths and historic ballot boxes with paper ballots for their general elections.
