@JiangZiyaTabooDays woops, just realized I replied to a 1 year old reply :-P

@JiangZiyaTabooDays I liked Red Cliff, but perhaps the fact that it was the first time I saw a TK-related film/series helped.
Zhou Yu is more like Chou instead of Joe if you ask me. DW7 has done a horrible job in pronounciations. Dong Zhuo should by Dung Ts'o or something, but they say... Dong Swa! (the 'a' is no typo), but Koei seems to be putting some sort of effort in the pronounciations. Hopefully they'll be better in DW7XL or DW8.

@VogueHomme Red Cliff was atrocious, I've seen it.
Lu Bu has an umlaut over it, hence closer to "Lur Bu," but not quite. Chang An = Chahng Ahn, he overpronounces the Ts sound of Cao Cao, Jiang Dong (East River) is Jee-ahng doong, Sun Ce is more like Soon Tsuh, Zhou Yu is "Joe Yoo," Jian is "Jee-en." It's weird, they couldn't find anyone to even come close.

His pronounciations are good. Better then in Dynasty Warriors. Check out the movie Red Cliff and you'll see this narrator is pronouncing the names how they should be pronouncent

I found the narration good at first, but the only confusion I have is I thought the Jian in Sun Jian was pronounced as a Y rather than a G. That is how I heard the name Jian Tse Wu in the 1st "Art of War" film anyway.

Who is the foolio doing the voiceovers? I'm a white boy and even I find his pronunciations laughable.
