SKS slamfire

an example of why muzzle safety is the number 1 safety rule

while in the process of shooting a can at short range, the SKS has a slamfire when loading its first round. Russian golden tiger ammunition is being used, the gun is faithfully cleaned and parts for a spring retained firing pin are now in the mail! there is also a m1 garand being fired... though someone forgot to bring the enbloc clips...

man i swear, i'm just glad you guys are alright.. that was good video to show to my students on what unsafe shooting is all about, you guys need to mind your muzzle..

your weapon always needs to be pointed in a safe direction.. you guys several times crossed paths while talking and your weapons were pointed all over the place. BOOM! one mistake ends your fun and your at the emergency room saying your sorry to the parents of your friend.. u guys need some training

You and your friend's firing stances and techniques were completely unsafe and incorrect. I don't know who taught you to shoot, but they did you no service in it. Keep your elbows down and keep the muzzle of EVERY firearm pointed down-range or at the ground, and do not EVER step in front of a person with a firearm in their hands. I don't care which way it is pointed. Like the others said, you two could have killed each other

Why is everyone talking like they were just pointing the guns at each other constantly? Yea they were waving the rifles all over the place, that was obviously wrong but they were wearing ear an eye protection and shooting in a safe place. And why does everyone talk down on the extended elbow? That's the proper Army trained way to shoot.
