Racer X - NAMM 2009 - Motorman

In order to properly celebrate the 20th anniversary of Paul Gilbert using Ibanez guitars, Ibanez promoted Racer X live! This was the first USA show since May 25, 2001.

This is Motorman, which is a song about Jeff Martin. It's known for it's very difficult signature opening lick that was written by Bruce Bouillet.

Bruce wrote the opening to Motorman....and Paul has said it is Extremely difficult to play correctly. If you were at the Whisky show...Paul stopped the show to practice the intro before the song.

@ShinOnigashima Yes, that's why Paul is wearing the headphones to save his hearing. Bruce has some sort of arthritis not Tinnitus. If I remember correctly, Bruce was selling his bright colored guitars from the Racer X days sometime in the 90's.

Well, he has tendonitis I believe, and also he is more concentrated on producing and mixing, aside from his different tastes in music.
