All you "not the kinks" people need to shove off. All covers are, are symbols of respect to the original artists, and this one was done really damn well. No one has ever said it's better than the original. Besides, that's all just an opinion.

Sorry,but NOTHING BEATS the ORIGINAL from the 1960's written by the Great Ray Davies! Too,bad that you probably weren't around to enjoy this song when it first came out but, only have listened to a "cover".

@patascortitas Actually I was around and consider the original among my favorite Kinks sides (and I've got quite a few)...never said it was as good as the original, just a great version (and I've heard a few pretty weak ones over the years)...conversely, if you're a Shonen Knife fan or at least aware of them, that tips the scale a bit as well...glad you at least gave it a listen
