George Galloway is my hero but I think he's wrong on this issue. "The war on drugs" simply doesn't work. You can't stop the supply only squeeze it. When the supply drops the price goes up putting more money into organized crime. The junkie gets more desperate and will commit more crime to get the extra cash.

I don't know the answer to this problem but I do know what's happening now doesn't work.

I think Rolles makes good points, making things illegal has always opened opportunities for crime and black markets.

While I empathise with Georges view of the harm that shit causes, maybe, like alcohol, once it is legalised there is control of the strength and age availability to minimise harm.

We are a curious experimental tribe us humans, allow that at least, but with benevolent protection and knowledge of what is actually going down.

yes as long as the demand doesn¨t decrease, the war on drugs will only cause the price to increase. and the demand for drugs will never stop as long as there is free-will.

It´s amazing that the world dident learn jack from the alchohol prohibition in America.

There will always be peoples who do drugs, like there will always be peoples who drinks alcohol. We dont ban alcohol because there is alcoholists, we treat the alcoholists and let the rest drink their beer in peace.
