Marley Shebala, of the Navajo Times, is interviewed by Paul DeMain, of Native News Update, about the Navajo Nation's position on Arizona's new anti-"immigrant" (actually, it's more anti-indigenous people, especially Mexica[Mexicans]) & anti-"ethnic" (a euphemism for everyone except whites) studies laws, which are otherwise known as SB1070 & HB 2281 respectively.

I am a navajo and I did grow up on the reservation, if I have to stand with the "nazis",.I will. I will fight to preserve that this country and what it stands for, it does not stand for illegal immigration and it does not stand for free handouts.

@masees Of course the U.S. stands for illegal immigration. It was founded by illegal immigrants. Northern México & Navajo Country were invaded & conquered by the anchor baby descendants of those illegals. Some places, like Texas, didn't have to be conquered; instead the illegals just forced their way in & took over by the sheer force of their greater numbers. The Navajo Nation is not completely sovereign because the U.S. starved them in surrender, & it is now a DEPENDENT, INTERNAL [TBC]

@masees protectorate of the U.S. It's prohibited from having it's own foriegn relations, from making war & even from enforcing the law on it's own land, against the 5 major crimes, or using it's land for any purpose without the U.S.'s permission. You obviously have some personal issues you need to deal with or take care of...no one in their right mind would support illegal aliens coming into the US without properly doing so. There is no need to compare me or anyone law abiding citizen with nazis or some third world scenario, we are not discussing them or their issues, if you don't like the law then move to another country.

One day this law is going to turn on them and is going to be the dark skin men asking the white men if he is here legally from Europe, and it will be ok under the law. It can happen. @masees Wow! You are not well, and considering Navajo are known for being wise I would expect you would say something wiser than "If I have too I will stand with nazi's". The United States makes it ok for your people to be around because there are not many of you left, and while the others on the resevervations across America have all kinds of abuse problems relating to drugs and alcohol I have to say the U.S. has done a hell of a job slipping under your nose.

I support SB-1070, I'm not gonna bring my strong military family into my opinions. The people who cross our borders do so knowing it's illegal. This racism against the "whiteman" is getting so boring, seriously. If the "whites" didn't defeat everyone across this continent we'd probably be under some kind of screwed up country like...I don't know MEXICO! I'm tired of illegals using us registered Native Americans as their excuse to justify their stay in the USA. They are still here in this country illegally and should obide with our rules and language. I especially don't like the Mexicans or hispanics or latinos or whatever they call themselves hiding behind us North American Natives or Indians. Stop making this a race issue and get your green card.

@tuberpie68 Son Navajo's join the armed forces to protect the people from Illegals like you. The U.S. defeated you mexicans already and you need to pack your bags along with your illegal criminals- you will be deported permanently. Our Navajo grandfathers fought mexicans just like Americans are fighting mexicans now.
