  • Love what you're doing but............

It is very difficult to see what you are actually

doing with you moving your hands so fast...

Please try and keep the device STILL for a few seconds so that we can actually see what it is you are showing us.

The video smear from your hand movement is so high, there is no clarity shown.

    Just my 2 cents.

    Keep up the good work!

  • Are you gone to show it put to gather and working and how much voltage dose it put off ?

  • I am interested in creating one myself. Out of plexiglass. But my question is, could it not be better to have a fixed coil. And make the magnets spin?

  • OOO OOoo - what pritty things you make. Nice one matey

  • I think the name you mean for the rings is 'slip rings'

Also it's poeeible to get slip ring AC motors, they usually have a wound stator and rotor, the rotor would have a control to adjust the magnetic flux, and therefore the power.

Slip ring motors are usually the really big ones that need gradual power increase to get them running, similar to star-delta starting but in more steps.

  • theDaftman: Doing awesome projects, and recording it all for everyone to replicate!

    Thanks!
