ARMA 2 multiplayer 50 player online cooperations

Somebody requested a video showing some larger coop assaults on a 50 player server. In this clip you see some attacks and evacs that took some real cooperation. Multiple choppers dropping a lot of people on the same target. No game can give you this atmosphere when you land and move into a town with your team. This footage features players only, no AI. The clip was also recorded during 1 operation which took about 2 hours to accomplish. As you can see, it starts to get dark in the end. i would like to show more actual shooting but it is quite hard to survive and record with fraps at the same time. See, fraps on recording mode lowers my fps to 15. Watch my other clips for more online coop action.

Make sure it's what you want. Maybe download a demo first. In this game when you kill someone they're usually a small dot on the horizon. Nothing like other shooters.

On youtube I got absolutely nada. nothing. Guess I'll have to go do an internet search to find if there's any populated servers out there. The crowd that used to play this might have moved on to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Battlefield 3, in which case this game is going to be VERY lonely  :)

Hi there. I would really love to play this game online, but before I decide to go buy it: Are there still any populated multiplayer servers out there? Would be pointless for me to get the game and be unable to experience this. If this is no longer a viable online option, what are the alternatives that are similar?

@ratoneitor43returns There was talk of a Tunguska, which is a Russian-made AA gun, in the area prior to the Osprey being destroyed. I think it's safe to say that the Tunguska shot it down. :)
