On the DVD there's the Extra's/Audio Commentary, and they explain that the glider wasn't scripted/part of the movie ! Also that it came very close to the "Police" up on the wall. Regards.

Are there any good tv shows coming from the UK anymore? I remember all the great stuff like Monty Python, Benny Hill, Here come the Double Deckers, the Wobbles etc. What's coming out of England that is good now?

Just discovered this again after probably 25 years. Innes was absolutely brilliant. All of these songs were well crafted and well recorded and captured the absolute essence of the Beatles sounds. Absolutely awesome.
