Audi's new Lamborghini engined supercar, the R8 V10, is the subject of Jonny's attention as he takes it by the horns on beautiful Spanish roads. A four wheel drive chassis with a V10 engine could be the perfect supercar for the beginner...

  • @ 0:38 "Owners of the V8 model are probably watching and going Yes! I've got a car that looks the same and it's cost me 23 grand less!" - What a stupid thing to say, what R8 owner would be thinking that?

Another horrible job done by this presenter. How can he ruin such a beautiful car.

  • @createwithnate Owners of the V8 model jajaja... the in the price of the v10 there are all kinds of standard equipment which would be optional extras on the v8. if you add it all up, the v10 engine itself only costs about 10 grants..FOR A +100hp V10, that's freakin cheap !! they should get their facts right

  • no there probably going "shit i have the slow v8 one"

idk bout you but with the v8 i didnt really like the r8. It had the same motor as the rs4...

  • @supercarkid only Lambo i would get is the Murcielago

  • just test trove this today - lvely lovely car! better than the lambo in many ways, not least its everyday ability

  • Can anyone name the song that plays at 2:31 ??

    It sounds so cool.

  • if they dropped a V6 and added superchargers or turbos and made it RWD, that would be interesting.

It'll probably cost less and it would be lighter although I think the Quattro 4WD is ok to go with it.

  • Agree on that one. Though I don't think the V10 is necessary, they've done just fine doing so and you're right about it being bought not for gas mileage but it does matter when it comes to cars like the Audi because they're built to be more practical than any supercar but not for practical use and it would be better to go further miles. I still fancy the V8 though. That rumble is something special.

i agree. like the r8 raptor. they bolted a supercharger in, and i believe lightened it up a bit. id take the supercharged v8 over the v10. if someone is going to unload that much money, and want something really special, there going to go for the lambo, so they need to stop trying to compete with the lambo, and fit there part.
