Relaxation of point vortex model to vortex crystal state.
Simulation of the 2-d point vortex model
as a model of the 2-d pure electron plasma under the strong magnetic field (Malmberg trap).
The dynamics is well approximated by the 2-d Euler equation.
Vortex in cell (VIC) method is used with 513x513 mesh.
N = 160,000.
The initial configuration is a single ring state with randomly located particles.
