I Am Somebody - Kendra Chantelle - a tribute montage

Kendra's song "I Am Somebody." Kendra Chantelle was a Season 10 American Idol contestant and just missed the Final 13. But what a great run! She certainly showed off her talent. Kendra co-wrote this song with singer/songwriter Damien Horne (who is pictured in the 3rd to last photo in the montage). The song was recorded and engineered in Nashville by Chris Mendoza in 2010. The inspiring lyrics are displayed below.

On American Idol Season 10 (2011), Kendra made the Top 24. Then it was time to go from 24 to 13. There were ten singers that made the final ten that evening and six singers that sung for the Wild Card slots: Kendra, Robbie Rosen and Jovany Barreto sang well but missed out. The three Wild Card slots went to Stefano Langone, Ashthon Jones and Naima Adedapo. They joined Scotty McCreery, Paul McDonald, Lauren Alaina, Pia Toscano, Karen Rodriguez, Jacob Lusk, Casey Abrams, Thia Megia, Haley Reinhart and James Durbin as the FINAL 13.
