Here is a rip off of a classic TV series of a by gone Golden Era (they just dont make them like they used to) set to the backdrop of my modified brushless Super Cub LP "VALKYRIE SIX". these clips were made using a digital camera (cannon SD), arranged and edited by yours truly. My co-pilot and co-camera man: LOUISXP1. he was at the controls for both the SD and super cubbie for some of the shots but most impressively, he piloted for the final picture of a Super Cub "BUSH" landing...check it out :P

brushless, 30A esc (3a BEC)
9g servos
Futaba FASST (7c)
1600 mah battery.
2200 turnigy 25C battery
8x4E.
3" wheels.
the paint job is not finished. once maidened and commissioned, she will get the cowling painted/ Struts/LG / wheel as well.

  • can you explain more about where i could get these wheels because i really need bush wheels so i can land it in the park near my house. thanks

  • @Hide4482 yes i went on EBAY or your local Hobby shop. i asked /looked for dubro 3 inch or 4 ich wheels ( think they are 3). i looked at them/bought them. then i went home and slightly drilled out more of the axel hole (very slightly bigger drill bit than the size of the wheel axle plastic) so that the wheel would go into the supercubs stock landing gear wire/axel. it was very easy as the plastic is soft . also please read the previous comments which explain more.

  • @stormranger6 THANKS SO MUCH this is EXACTLY what i needed to know exept i was intersted in some more scale like, realistic looking wheels..around 3-3 and a half inches. my local hobby store only sells model trains and such. lol PLEASE if u know where to find what im talking about let me know ASAP..thanks

  • @Hide4482 look here .... 3 inch i used

go to ebay (dot) com then do a search for DUBRO SPORTS WHEELS. or go to towerhobbies(.com )and search AIRPLANE WHEELS , then on the right side SEARCH BY BRAND (select DUBRO) and y ou will see entire inventory. now ive done all the work for you except the slight axel drilling out and putting them on for you! :) good luck and let me know of the end result!

  • Am i able to put a brushless motor right into the plane or do i need modifications such as esc and transmitter

  • I rather there be no music so i could hear the motor

  • Dubro brand 2.5 or 3" wheels. also get one for the tail, 1"-1.5'

the 3" i think cost me around 6 dollars at a LHS

  • What brand of wheels are they? and where did you get them? the original wheels are hopeless on grass!
