My mother had this same thing on her check..I had one too..only it was on my thigh :(..but its mos def looks like a fatty tumor! doesnt mean u have cancer tho : ) ...hope u got it removed tho or atleast was able to find out what it is! Praying for you. ..we both got ours removed and have NO SCARS btw.

@crazystar32allie Then, you are lucky because it is not a tumor. My grandmother has this kind of thing on her neck and it is comfirmed malignant Hodgkin Lymphoma (cancer of the lymph nodes), and passed away just a few days ago.

This could obviously be several causes, dr, needed to rule them out. One is TB, one is enlarged muscle which is what I have , it could also be a lung infection and the top of the lung protruding there. See a dr, hope you feel better.

Yes that was on the list of things to check, but it's not a lymph node it's right next to one.

I had xrays, ultrasounds, scans & bloodwork done. The final conclusion is it's a asymmetric fat distribution in the neck area, which normally pops up like that when you loose a lot of weight rapidly, do steroids etc. I don't fall under any of the categories. It may be there forever or settle back down, but there's nothing I can do to fix it.

I'm shocked to have this many views of the video and I'm sorry I never saw the comments until now, I didn't expect this. I only posted it to show a couple doctors before I could get an appointment.
