Musicians don't normally compare themselves to other musicians on a competitive level...it's just us fans who do that...I'm a big Stones fan...but I liked the Beatles too...both bands have been major influences on todays music. Sure the media played them off against each other back in the early days...but there was never any real compitition between the two bands.
