  • It makes me smile when I find deeper understanding. Though this does not always bring smiles--for example, the whole Tiny Buddha books and website phenomenon..Beyond a surface feel good veneer, the clearly well-advertised and full-on sales pitch for the author's books is at least as conducive to a growing bank statement as it is to spiritual development. They are not necessarily mutually exclusive. But how about calling it like it is when you thread on the sacred ground of people's spirits?

  • @chaji18 Hi there! I understand your instinct here. I know that the financial side of things can sometimes cause people to question other people's intentions. Still, while I'm grateful I had the opportunity to write a book, and that I've received compensation through it that helps me support myself, I really do have the utmost respect for the community, and I value the experience of sharing my lessons and learning from them above all else.

    Happy Tuesday!
