This is a step-by-step tutorial on protecting your wireless keyboard connection.
if you are using a wireless keyboard, that means you are transmitting (broadcasting) every keystroke you make into the airspace around you. Every last letter you type is received by your pc's receiver but someone else could have a receiver as well set up just to record your keystokes, numbers, passwords etc....is this likely? probably not as im sure that this would be a hot topic; however, its still poses a potential for someone to steal information from you.
the steps are easy enough for a logitech (which is what I used)
1. go to the logitech website
2. download setpoint for your keyboard/mouse
3. open the software and locate the keyboard tab
4. click the wireless security tab
5. follow the few steps required to protect your keyboard.
