I don't see birth as beautiful or gross; like pooping, puking, or dying, it's a natural process. Most will agree birth is a very intimate thing, trendy/disturbing as it is to tape it lately.

Honesty is a great parenting skill, rational convo doesn't mean one's kids won't pay for their parents' choices. If kids can turn one's name into a taunt, imagine what they can do with a nude mom video.




More power tho if ur kids are as accepting of the consequences of your choices as you are.

I find it unlikely that thier 3rd grade friends will be watching birth videos online, but anything's possible. Birth may not be beautiful to my boys(4&6) but it is normal, so i suppose it would be delt with the same way you'd deal with teasing for any other silly thing... With honesty about why we make the choices we make... They do find penis's funny, but not beyond the point of rational conversation. We are pretty matter of fact about things& explain why it might make others uncomfortable.

Wow! A birth must take planning! Heck, being a parent takes A LOT of planning!

Just curious, what's your parenting plan for when your kid's schoolmates taunt him/her with a video of his half naked mum screeching in a kiddie pool?

I'm sure you've got a better idea than explaining that birth is beautiful process to 3rd graders who find the word "penis" beyond hysterical. I just can't seem to think of one myself.
