A Tribute to the Missing & Murdered Women of Downtown Eastside Vancouver, BC

A tribute to the missing women of western Canada and murder victims of Downtown Eastside Vancouver, British Columbia with sketches done by Project EDAN to show a softer side of some of the missing women. Some of these young women are still listed as missing. "Somewhere" from "West Side Story" sung by Barbra Streisand and "Nella Fantasia" from "Eden" sung by Gardar Thor Cortes.

The meaning of the words in English translation of the song, "Nella Fantasia" which I thought were appropriate for the tribute to the missing women are below:

I knew one of the girls she was my cousin we called her smiley one the street ,when i found out she was missin I was shocked , she was such a strong person and had such strong personality. Pray for her and the other PEOPLE every day. Love always charlie

We need to listen to the women who have been there, we need to hear their voices so that they can help save other womens life that are into the drugs and alcohol. I know cause i have been there.

These young women are in the AFTER and are living like they are in Heaven with positive loving energy,God is loving to those that are mercy full,that they were....however...its peaple like pickton,that keep our earths Core Hot,

it's amazing when a young girl or a life has been lost in the downtown eastside there moms ,sisters cousins,and the greatest aunty's ever..we all live life 2 survive...but we need 2 respect the ones have past...i know i have..my cousin was one of them...and yes that was a SHOCK!i love every human being that has 2 make a living one way or another....BLESS YOUR SOULS MY SISTERS on the eastside.........

I am one of the very beautiful ladies cousin....Georgina Papin....I miss her very much!and god bless all the woman that were taken but they will never b forgotten..there still alive in our hearts and there laughter will always b there....huggs and many kisses for all that may pass but god will b with you forever......
