Ninja Whippets

Every time I sit on the bed to put my socks on my two whippets, Devo & Vespa, think theres a game in it.
They LOVE this...!

I also have a scientific background (behavioural psycology, Skinner boxes, the works) and your skepticism got me thinking so I did a small experiment:

I sat on the bed with a sock pulled open in my hands. I was passive, didn't call the dogs over, just sat there. Devo came to me, tail wagging, looked at me, looked at the sock and, without my encouragement thrust his head into the sock. He instigated the game himself, he must enjoy it.

those are cute whippets :3 I once tried to put a sock on one of my whippets (those noses just look like right to pull something over it XD) but he bit into it instead and killed the sock :D he does that with pillows, too. Darn, I miss my whippets ;_; Moving out for Uni does not only come with positive aspects.

To anyone who doubt these dogs are having the time of their life: Whippets are in fact VERY intelligent. Actually, Whippets would outsmart the lot of you.

Point being: if they were to NOT like this activity, they would have NO PROBLEM at all removing these socks from their head. Honestly.

Oh wow, I actually used to play a similar game with one of my friends. XD We'd put pants on our heads and try to rough house.

Plus, this seems like an interesting way to see how sighthounds cope without sight.

Also, Devo and Vespa are awesome names for Whippets. ESPECIALLY Devo. X3
