The opening used E.S. Posthumus's Posthumus Zone or Rise to Glory, but Most CBS stations at that time continued to use Frankie Vinci's Super Bowl for their preseason coverage.

Alot of people would watch this game, actually. This was 2006 and both the Chiefs and Bengals were good that year. The Bengals had been 11-5 the previous year and the Chiefs were 10-6 the previous year. CIN finished 8-8 and the Chiefs made the playoffs at 9-7
