OWS was started by Adbusters magazine out of Vancouver, Canada.

The magazine can be critical of anything because it has no advertisements. It is funded by rich people who realize the importance of freedom of the arts, including George Soros.

Although some of Soros cash may have went in, there is no way he would be able to exercise control over OWS through the rebels at Adbusters.
