This is the fifth project from my Time Based Visual Arts class at UIC. The assignment was to make a short video that depicted the end of time or the end of the world. I decided to create a music video that showed the end of the world. The song playing is 'Put You on Game' by Lupe Fiasco.

Think about that lyric line in the song, and reflect on how it can be connected to todays top-artist: Jay-z and Rihanna etc..

Guns are sold in the black market The security in oval offices have guns and people in crackhouses have guns And also the last line in the song describes what he is talking about: If you die, tell them that you played my game I hope your bullet holes become mouths that say my name, 'Cause I'm the... This is so deep! Thank you for making it, the orchestra impacts me more than the actual song but the lyrics on the screen really help to drive the point home.(Wish there were more lyrics on the screen though, but iag= its all gravy)

very nice work, i always play this song for people and ask them to figure out who lup is referring to, most of them say god for some dumb@ss reason and i make them get out of my car. if normal eye sight is 20/20, then Lupe's must be 2000/2000 cause the kids got a serious vision. I believe if people could open theyre eyes and ears enough he would change the world. "Hello/Goodbye" would also have been a great song to use for ur project

See this is why Lupe is a genius, nobody could think of this. To put these realities into a charatcter he can refer to is sheer brilliance; in his album 'The Cool' it's just full of exemplary lyricism, of which no other human can recreate of their own head. It is possible for people to, but nobody thinks that way.

@TAHMURI It's about The Game, a character in his story "The Cool." And The Game is a personification of the actual game throughout history. And this is the story of The Game.

It can be related to the devil in a way, but in no way is Lupe some devil worshiper if that's what people are thinkin'.
