Tag Heuer Formula One

This is a Tag Formula one grande date. The white part of the face is all lume, 200 meters water resistant, divers extension. The band on this watch is amazing.

@jep23 I wouldnt. But, you can do whatever you want. It's up to you. I would say It's a multi purpose watch so if you had to pick a watch to wear for the beach, swimming, camping, a date, nice dinner, and so on. It can fulfill many many situations. More than an actual dress watch.

Ive heard that the lume dosent last long, is that true.

@RWW124 I'm not going to lie. The lume sucks on this watch. The hands and the dial blend in with each other and you can't even come close to telling what the time is. That is, after a few minutes when the light source has been removed.

I really like your vids and as far as I know your the only one on you tube reviewing this watch, I just purchased the F1 Grande Date with the black face, do you know anything about the movement in this watch, I know its a ronda because it says so on the tag website, Do you know if they are mass produced crap as a friend of mine says you can get them in watches that cost less than £50? Quite worrying considering I payed £700.00 for the watch

@aberdeendeltaforce Your friend is right to a point. They are mass produced movements. I don't think they're crap. But are cheap. I think about it like this. If you buy a $50 watch with this movement can you sell it to someone for $700? Probably not. You bought a Tag. It has pedigree behind the name. Most watches that are swiss use the same movements. I have a $100 Invicta that has the movement as my $1400 Movado. It's not just the movement you should be after. Have pride in your Tag.

I wore one of these as my daily for a year and it was fantastic! very hard wearing and quality feel. for sale if anyone is interested. black face with black rubber strap- the best combination. all boxes and 1 year international warranty left (based in London)

Thanks for the review. I love the looks of this watch and was actually considering getting one (on the rubber strap). The fact that the bezel doesn't line up is inacceptable at this price point, though. My (equally beautiful, IMO) mechanical Seiko SRP043 which I got for 330 USD (with the steel bracelet) has a perfectly aligning bezel. But if this doesn't bug you, enjoy your otherwise really nice watch.

this is my first tag heuer!i bought this as a gift for myself!i really love this watch coz the diameter of the face is much more larger than the other f1 model!thanks for the posting!

@jsnissan Hi there thanks for you input, it was really helpfull, I suppose it is the name your paying for, although I've heard TAGS last for ever compared to other quartzes.
