Seven minutes, viewer. Seven minutes is all I can spare to play with you. But even then, nothing, not even Chris Redfield, can prevent the inevitable transmission of Amateur Extension Theater 2000's newest episode... with the power of the internet at my disposal, I, Alkahest, am about to achieve... Total! Global! SATURATION!

Believe it or not, I'm really not a fan of the Resident Evil series (known more appropriately as 'Biohazard' in Japan). The premise itself intrigued me -- evil pharmaceutical corporation plays with viruses and human life for self-interest, profit, and generally egomaniacal purposes, while ordinary folks fight to survive and stop them? Very cool idea for a story. But... the horror, violence and gore? Eh. Not my preferred form of gaming experience.

The music from RE has often had some very memorable entries, though, and 'Wind of Madness' is no exception. It's played during a boss fight with Albert Wesker, the series' long-standing evil mastermind and manipulative schemer who seeks to become the self-styled god of a new master race, one that will be birthed by a terrible viral plague capable of wiping out all but a select few of 'genetic superiority'. (This sounds familiar...)

Note that this version is from the Biohazard 5: Selection Track OST, which contained pure orchestral versions of the in-game music.
