Michael Jackson - dead famous

I've been leaving the topic of Michael Jackson's death alone, largely because I'm not very interested in Michael Jackson. The one thing I'm interested is how he could be a salutary lesson to anyone who "wants to be famous".

MJ wasn't just famous (more famous than nearly anyone) he was extremely talented in his chosen field. I've always suggested people don't worry about getting famous, worry about getting good. But Jackson shows that isn't enough - he had talent to fall back on but it still wasn't enough. His life was still totally fucked.
