I'm a nerd myself AND listen to (conventional) rap all day. In my opinion there are no good nerdcore rappers out there, mostly they have great lyrics, but the performance sucks. These nerdcore rapppers aren't just as sick as their colleagues on the streets or where ever...

@ConradConch I listen to conventional rap as well... Nas - Illmatic, Wu Tang - 36 Chambers... all good, however I think you need to give the nerdcore scene another chance...it's just like conventional hip-hop, you have to dig for the good stuff... Sure you can listen to Kanye West crap all day, but you're missing out. If you truly like (conventional) hip-hop I'd recommend Mega Ran as a great gateway to nerdcore, find his album Forever Famicom. Also Zealous1, Dale Chase, Kabuto the Python...etc.
