Why do you need to cut it to dodge copyright infringement when you clearly state it's ok to use under the Fair Use Act?

@2000jago because WMG are jerks haha. They don't bother to even read the disclaimer, they just run it through an audio recognition system and block/delete videos if they pick up the track. Usually altering the pitch or cutting out the first part of the song gets around it

@daveleedrumming Well then I guess one of two things in your video are UTTERLY pointless then? Why not drop the reference to fair use since it's clearly completely irrelevant. Might give some other people the idea that posting a "Fair Use" disclaimer will somehow magically exempt them from copyright infringement protections.

Oh, and before I forget: Fuck WMG! For every video pulled for copyright audio, I will download 10 albums with bittorrent and re-share them wherever possible...
