@JessesanMan If you hold your mind open, then you are agnostic. You didn't give a reason for your belief in 'something greater' - there are lots of greater things than you (the sun is more massive, for example). So why do you imply some invisible thing that has no evidence supporting it? Atheists do not close their minds; listen to what they say on videos. Atheists simply don't believe the obviously silly myths. If someone showed me solid evidence, I would know, not believe.

@farvision Actually, for a long time I did not really believe in anything. I came to believe on my own. I don't like church. I'm not really into most Bible stories. I just believe in something greater than myself. I actually view God as more of an oversoul than a dominating lord. Strict Christians close their minds. Atheists close their minds. I hold my mind open.

Christian means Christ-follower. Christianity isn't about bringing others to God, or church, but about relationship and love. Our priority isn't to condemn, but to love and have a relationship with God.

@emarvin135 Well... Sometimes people need to be given a kick in the pants because they aren't truly doing the work of God. I'm not saying this is the case here but if we are silent about things that aren't holy then they will just continue. Sometimes people need to be accused to see the error of their ways, right?

@farvision No problem. I know a lot of people flame at people for those type of comments but i feel that's not the right way to go about it. Anyways. I will have a look at those videos if i get the time. In Gr.12 so very busy with school work. Also wondering have you read the Bible in it's entirety ? Just a question i like to ask people who i speak to about these things. How do you know it was a part of earlier mythology?

@sniperstar Thanks for the calm response. There is a lot of information available about religions being myths. Most of the story of Jesus was part of earlier mythologies. A good movie showing some of this is called 'The God Who Wasn't There' and you can easily find it on google. Look at the videos by giivideo and all the 'god' playlists I've collected.

Oh, wait. You do that all the time, just look at the news from around the world. I take it back. Give up your stupid myth and join the sane people!
