They were such a brilliant band, I saw them a few times in the UK they were more popular here than in Oz I think. I bet they didn't make much money, yet they were so much better than musical accountants like U2...
I am only just discovering the musical brilliance of the triffids, unfortunately I missed them in the 80's. This clip is brilliant, full of emotion. David was a great loss.
And they also had a bubble-machine to remind me of you -as if I had forgotten.
