@Dbusdriver71 I haven't forgot that. You just mentioned Nixon and I followed. LBJ is in many ways worse than Nixon. What's your point? You think I'm going to express my love for LBJ? "Lies are part of life" you use that to excuse any wrong doing anybody does. Why not excuse North Vietnam and China? Why not just say everyone is evil and give up, why take sides? Why defend wrong? the only way to defend wrong is to say wrong things.

@Dbusdriver71 I don't trust any politician, because to be a politician you have to be a narcissist. You keep projecting and grouping. If one side does this, it's okay to do that. If that's you're argument forget it. It's ridiculous. You're trying to squirm away from the truth that the entire Vietnam war was a horrible disaster. @Dbusdriver71 It was jfk that sent over the advisors and lynden johnson that escalated the war. You seem to forget that. Its obviously Nixon's war. The consecessions that the north wanted were so bad we might as well have surrendered unconditionally but that doesn't matter to the liberals unless its a liberal president. @THEINVENTABLETHREAT The North were killing anyone that helped the U.S. and excuted anyone that was prowestern or pro south vietnam. You liberals seem to forget the north killed as many as you claim america did in its bombings; which were meant to get the north vietnamese to return to the peace table. Children in Laos and Cambodia still get blown to bits to this day because bombees. So we escalated the war which killed around 1,000,000 civilians10 and ten years after they're capitalist. To all you liberals out there, judging by the posts your making your still so damn angered that you were outsmarted by nixon. After almost 40 years your still can't believe it can u?! What must still really burn your asses is the concept of the volunteer army. The process of doing away with the draft must really have angered you; the thought of not being forced to fight a war and seeing all your support for the anit war crowd must have really hurt. @THEINVENTABLETHREAT I demonize people who were against the entire operation from start to finish even before advisors were sent and then use their ideology to justify their stance. And the ideology is we are guilty even before the crimes were commited; the north was innocent no matter what they did. Even when they commited war crimes they were innocent simply because we were there.

"Representation" is the entire idea behind our republic. know you go back on your statement and say "they were just as evil as we were" Yet, I never said that North Vietnam was innocent. You started with "ideology" in your first statement. So I guess you are demonizing Kerry for representing a group of people who were right.
