The Pharmacratic Inquisition - DVD Preview

The Pharmacratic Inquisition DVD is available at http://www.GnosticMedia.com.

On 07-07-07 we released a DVD companion for our book, Astro-Theology & Shamanism. This DVD companion contains much of the information and imagery contained within book itself (without all of the heavy footnotes), as well as much of the information contained within the free video (available at GnosticMedia.com) titled, "The Pharmacratic Inquisition."

The book and video question the historical existence of Jesus Christ and shed light on other religions such as Mithraism, Hinduism, Judaism, as well as indigenous shamanism, showing the origins of shamanism through psychedelic/entheogenic drug use, sun and star worship, and fertility and sex worship.

This DVD is a followup and updated release of the online 2004 video by the same name.

this dvd never discussed the actual common visions or effects one experiences while under the influence of the amanita mushroom. A glimpse into this might make the viewer accept the truth the documentary is trying to push, that most religions have profound links to altered states of being. Pretty dumb thing to leave out of the film and i am disappointed.

I've watched 90 minutes of this video on Google and found it ludicrous & full of mistakes - ie, when the authors claims that the word "monastery" is derived from "moon", when it comes from the greek "mono", which means "alone"'. This video discredits more serious research on this subject and puts further strain on the validity of the perception and knowledge ancient cultures had - and still have - of their ecosystem and their relationship to it. It's stupid, irresponsible and downright awful.

Please read the other comments here; you are not the only one who thought those two videos (our DVD and that one on Google) are the same...they are not the same video.

Looks really impressive. I'll check it out now. I think there is some truth to the ancient books of the world religions, but very subtle truths. Extra-Terrestrial beings I believe inspired the concept of deities however

You think if he were truly good, then he would show himself to us when we have nothing more to go on but the word of the rich and corrupt clergy.
