Ahhh this is crazy still makes me sweat. Nevis Bungy Jump in New Zealand is the second highest bungy jump in the world. I walked up to the edge and freezing/shaking instead of jumping when told, I found myself looking down at a drop further than falling down a football field vertically. I was told to jump so many times but I was only listening to myself trying to rationalize jumping off a modern day plank that people in the past would have jumped off had they had the misfortune to make someone on a pirate ship angry. Basically the idea of jumping with a rope tied around your feet is fully against basic human instincts. I attempted to pump myself up and only end up looking 100% ridulous facing the beautiful scenery of New Zealand, screaming at the top of my lungs. Despite my behaviour that could be compared to that of a scared 7 year old, I would definately do it again (partially to redeem myself) and suggest that you do it too because it was an amazing experience. Alright...

  • I wold never go bungee jumping. A broken rubber brought me into this world, and it's not going to take me out.

  • Well going first will get it over with then you just have to watch the other people

  • Hey man, watching your vid makes me think that I'm most likely the one with issues! Search Woollacott Nevis. You'll see the exact opposite of your jump! Maybe I have a deathwish?!!!

  • OOOOOOHHHHHH!!!!! Shit I KNOW! That I would have behaved just like you did.

  • I know how you felt man. I went first too and it was the scariest thing ever! I found that not looking down was the key. They also were playing some pretty heavy rock which really helped to calm my nerves

  • good job, i was shaking with nerves just watching!

my brother was first too when he did, and it took him about a minute to eventually get the balls to jump. honestly not sure whether i could do it though!!!

  • congrats! also did the nevis a couple of days ago.. it's unreal!

  • this "instructor" makes me nervous too. What happened at 1:46?

  • Epic. Took the guy long enough, but at that height, how many can honestly say they wouldn't hesitate, as well!
