@TheDirtbiker123 he didn't take 8.7 because of his number he took that amount so that the team could keep other great players like malkin, fleury, etc. that way they could still have the same team chemistry as before

@Foxx1981 Malkin is a glass man? Crosby has missed half a season twice now, once with an ankle (with Malkin stepping up to save the season) and now with a concussion. Malkin played with a nagging knee injury most of this season that they never allowed to heal and the way his knee was hit to tear his ACL and MCL, no one would have had their knee survive. He took a direct blow.

Crosby should have had 10 and Malkin 5. Geno is a very spluttery type of player that doesn't always deliver. Also he's a damn glass man.
