    IF your eyes hurt then you are not doing it correctly. You need to cross your eyes so that u see 4 images (Each 2 paired together) and then adjust your eyes until 2 opposite images merge into each other. You should now see 3 images, focus your sight on the middle one and eventually it will be clear and you can view it in 3d. You should start by viewing photos in 3D before videos as a practice thats how I managed to do it. SO try googling "3D cross eyed photos". Good luck.
