The lightning method described in my video tutorial added to some actual footage. I'm quite satisfied with the result.

For some strange reason, YouTube killed the quality of this video.

  • Why is the quality so crappy. I even compressed it the way YouTube's faq recommends. X(

  • It's probably because of the shot itself. The backround is complex, and it's all moving shots.

  • Ah, no, the effect itself looks alright and everything. What bugs me is that the real video looked quite good and had good quality, but after uploading it to Youtube, it changed into that.

  • Where did you get that footage without the effects?

  • No, I mean the reason why the quality is crap and pixolated is because of the complex backround and camera moves. YouTube has a hard time compressing these.

  • Put &fmt=18 behind your video's URL and the video should be displayed in a better quality ;)
