@nathfrancis01 Have you any idea at all what it takes to be a Police Officer? All the serious pressures you face, decisions you have to make? Have you ever had to attend a Sudden Death and inform someone that their loved one is dead? Police Officers take these days off because they have to, because they are sick, or even stressed with the job or members of the Public. So don't be silly!
The average sick days per year for a UK police officer is 11.55. If you combine the amount of sick days my father, grandfather and me have had in our lifetimes it is less than 12. As for human rights violations just type UK Police brutality into Google and take your pick. Also the amount of sickdays are even less excuseable whe you consider police have more holidays and retire earlier than people in the private sector. POLICE ARE LAZY END OF!!!!!
@nathfrancis01 you can't say most police officers if you've never met most of them.....plus 10% isn't most of them. what human rights violations are these?
@pyro999maniac The entry tests aren't exactly mensa material are they. Also even though paperwork, targets etc add to the inefficiency of the force the police themslves must take responsibility for their dire sickness record, human rights violations ans corruption. If you worked in a factory and had a sickness record like most police officers you would be shown the door. End of discussion.
@nathfrancis01 as for the academic side of things. if that was the case they wouldn't bother with entry tests. the police force is inefficient because they are hampered by government targets, government paperwork and the inability of the crown prosecution service to do their job.
@nathfrancis01 policing can be a hugely stressful job. and no i have not been indoctrinated with pro public service bias...don't talk shit. i studied the goods and bads or the public services. the reason they parade is to instil pride in these people who will be very shortly on the beat serving their communities. if a person has pride in they work they do they will often work harder and better to achieve better results. it gives them a chance to show to their families.
@pyro999maniac You are the joke. I see that you have a BTEC National Diploma Uniformed Public Services, this goes to show that you have been indoctrinated with pro public service biased nonsense. Do you realise that nearly 10% of police in the UK are on long term sick, why? Because they are idle and the police force is inefficient. That is why nobody should support such a farce, these police are not intelligent enough be an accademic and are too lazy for manual labour.
