It's my LUCKY DAY!

I was vacuuming today when all of a sudden the "Performance Indicator" was sorta flashing and flickering. By the time I was done it was straight up on! I've had this vac about six months and it's only the second time I've had to change the bag. Probably would have to change it more if I didn't have 44 other vacs to choose from! This vac has phenomenal suction right up untill the performance light glows, and it packs it brick solid as you can see in the video. As with this and all my vacs, I change the bag when either a light glows, or it's at the full mark, and never intentionally put stuff on the carpet to vacuum it all up. What you see is the real deal from regular (and car) vacuuming. I love watching a bag grow and grow over time, it adds character to the vac! By the way, I later weighed the bag and the scale showed 7.8 lbs!

@jmurray01 The 5055 (I use the 50558 Allergen Filter Bag) is a very popular bag that was used in many different Kenmore models for many years. I got my bags from K-Mart, who was bought out by Sears years ago. They have a great stock of these bags, as does the Sears parts warehouse. Since I let the bags fill untill the indicator light gloes, I've only changed the bag twice in under a year. I use other vacuums also, so I may have had to change it another time or two if this was my primary vac.

@fgbags Well if you look after her you will! :) How can you still buy bags for it though? It's over 10 years old!! I struggle to find bags for my 2.5 year old hoover!!!

Thats a very nice looking vacuum! Good that you have luxury indicator lights! All I have is a little red piece of plastic that slides up when the bags full on my cheap Cylinder! Haha!
