@aliascraig - Err, no, they dropped this for the LH model, a medium-sized Torana, circa 1974. It was the ultimate restyle of that - the UC model - that got replaced by the Commodore.
What didn't you like about your dad's Torana? Bad ride? No grunt? Breaking down all the time? Bits falling off it? "Bucket of sh#t" is a bit non-specific.

@regal340 As I said. They dropped this for the Commodore. If it was so good then they would have kept it going.

@aliascraig no the reason they dropped the Torana was because the vb Commodore had just been released ( 1978) which was almost identical in size with the uc torana, Holden had effectivley killed the Torana off themselves I learnt to drive in a lc gtr back in 92 paid $1000, it wasnt the best example but i loved that car im now restoring a 4 door lc

@regal340 Sorry but my father used to have one of these in the 70's and all I can say is that it was a bucket of shit. I know why GMH dropped these cars out of production and went to the european opels (aka commodores).
