In this Aria, and especially in recitativo, acting is as important as vocal presentation.
Here Bonisolli at least shows emotions and changes of moods on his face. Unless most opera singers who are too preoccupied with voice and technique. I don't like much his acting interpretation (probably stage director did it) but its better than most.

Absolutely brilliant! It is such a joy to hear this aria sung by a great robust tenor like Bonisolli, who can also act, passionately and convincingly. Attention, Opera World: This man could sing a lot more than Di Quella Pira! Thanks for this extraordinary video.

E meraviglioso ! In my opinion,Bonisolli was underated and somewhat overlooked among the very good Italian tenors of the 60's and 70's. He does a superb job in this rather demanding Verdi piece. Mille grazie for sharing. Bravo Bonisolli !
