Piano - Music From Lost (Part 2)

With the final season of LOST starting, I thought I should share my love for the musical score, composed by Michael Giacchino. With music auditions around the corner I couldn't really practice up the LOST music, so there's the odd mistake (and bad form :P).

This is the second of a set of LOST piano performances by me. It focuses on Locke's themes, including also the Life and Death theme, Jacob's theme, and a little quick iteration of the bomb theme.

The first section takes us back to the Season 1 days of hunter-Locke. Going chronologically in the show, what follows is the heartfelt but tragically pathetic Locke theme. Moving through the seasons, I return to the season 4 version of the hunter theme, which is a little more intense. However, if you follow the show you know what comes next, and so I move into the Life and Death theme. Finally, the creepily beautiful "Jacob's Theme" ends the performance.


Oh, and I just got my piano tuned a few days ago. Hooray!

I'm just speechless. I, too, am a huge fan of the musical score Giacchino did for the show and you just played some of the most beautiful pieces flawlessly, and I mean on all of these performances, not just this one. Bravo, sir. Bravo. And keep at it.

@BigD2018 Glad you like them :) I plan on still doing the final piece from the end of Lost, although that will probably be on the SideTrackedMusicians channel. And there's still a whole bunch of other themes I never did, so who knows :P

can anyone tell me the notes for jacobs theme? in single note's preferably, i don't own a piano so i have to se my iphone dinky piano sim thing.. i think it's like "C, Fb, A, C, Fb, A, G, Gb..." then i get lost O.o'

Wow. I have all the soundtracks and love them so much. You do SUCH an excellent job at capturing the music like Giacchino does. Life and Death has been and still is my favorite theme..and Jacob's Theme is is hauntingly beautiful..it captures so much so much of the shows overall feel. Great job doing it. Keep it up!
