Who cares if they did it for the fans,who cares if they did it for the funding. They did it because its fun, and that's what drumming is all about. Comparing drumlines now a days is like apples to oranges to bananas.Not one is the same.I know the saying "Don't play it if its not hard," but if you truly stand by that fully, then drumming isn't your passion. If you don't like something that one group does, or if their skill level is lower than another, don't talk shit because of it.

PR is one of the few corps that still has a strong connection with a community. I believe they get some level of funding from rockford, therefore there is an effort to "give back" to the community. I would asume that lining up in the traditional manner and playing warm-ups etc. would not have been real interesting to the fans, so they chose more of a "pep band" approach. I would be suprised if they spent a lot of time on their routine, but the fans seem to like it either way.

dude, wow, its not "band snare" and "band toms" its snare drums, and tenors (or quads). and Phantom Regiment should not have a cymbol line
