Hellblazer was Garth Ennis' first published American work, here he explains what makes John Constantine tick, gives a possible reason for the book's success, and explains why Steve Dillon is so great to work with.

  • I've been reading Garth Ennis' work on Hitman recently. It's such a great read, and one of the few series that actually made me care about the characters.

  • @Tuffadandem ever tried PREACHER???? :)

  • @gummybrain best comic ever ;) absolutely my favourite

  • Anyone point me in the direction of a steve dillon interview? He's very illusive. any info would be a great help.

  • @rencrow

Don't be a douche. The majority of the best comic writers are from America, and i still wouldn't say something so cunty as what you did.

  • @Vikasthegunner

Don't forget Alan moore and Neil Gaiman. However what you should be pointing out is that nearly everyone one of these great writers are BRITISH. I guess we know where real talent comes form.

  • PREACHER is Ennis' best work to date. It is the stuff of genius. Has anybody noticed that the who's who of vertigo comics have all worked on Hellblazer? Delano, Ennis, Azzarello, Carey, Mina, Milligan etc etc...

  • Dangerous Habits saga is one of the best graphic novels ever created

  • @Zamudiokid He actually quit smoking weed years ago... hence why his stories are always on time... a great imagination with the aid of pot is often fleeting and forgetful. But he's still great as far as I'm concerned... sober or not.
