Halo: Reach | Challenge/Credit Glitch

UPDATED 10/7/2010 WITH INFALLIBLE METHOD:

Bungie is banning people who hit the daily cap using this method:

However, since Bungie is worried about banning "false positives", meaning people who hit the Daily Cap legitimately, you CAN avoid detection by not hitting the Daily Cap at all. So keep a mental estimate and don't hit anywhere near 60,000 credits.

All comments whining about me posting this will be removed. This glitch doesn't ruin anyone's gaming experience. It's not like I'm teaching you to autoaim.

And wouldn't you know it, two minutes after I made this video I fucked it up. So much for getting Captain tonight.

Steps:
1. There needs to be a challenge that asks you to get X amount of kills.
2. Get (X-1) kills and end the gametype you're in.
3. Load a campaign checkpoint.
4. Kill one enemy.
5. Pause.
6. Disconnect Ethernet cable.
7. Reconnect Ethernet cable and sign back in.
8. Repeat steps 3-7 (you may skip step 3 if it is convenient) as many times as you like. Keep a mental estimate, to reduce the likelihood of being banned you should stop BEFORE you hit the daily cap, which is somewhere around 60,000 credits. ***DO NOT LEAVE YOUR ETHERNET IN FOR MORE THAN TWO MINUTES AT A TIME.***
9. TO AVOID BEING BANNED: When you finish, unplug your ethernet cable, THEN save & exit campaign. The game will not be logged into the Bungie servers, and if you didn't hit the daily cap, they have to way to detect what you did.
10. Plug in your cable and then complete the challenge by gaining 1 kill. Save & exit to complete the challenge for the day. Do this in as little time as possible to avoid syncing of your data with Bungie's databases.
11. Don't play Reach for the rest of the day.

@TheGhostBusters2213 Scratch that out... I decided to do it again (Idiot me) and this time I did it again I got another 32,000 credits.. soo that's a total of 64,000 credits.. does that mean i'm going to get banned? And if so how long?
