they wouldnt stand a chance, but who am i too say they wouldnt? but who are you to say they would? the games changed a lot. players these days have better equipment better training better facilaties, and pleae never make such a comparison of salanne and kariya to gretzky and kurri ever again.

Dude, look at the size of goalie pads back in the day, and blind retard could put it by. Besides play was a lot more open. And Gretzky said in an interview back in 97-98 that Selanne and Kariya would have been right up there with him and Kurri, if they played in that era.

and im sure if malkin and crosby played back in the 1950's or ovechkin and semin played back then, then the record book would look much different also, all im saying is salanne is no where near as good as gretzky, im not saying hes a shit player cause hes not hes great to watch but hes just no wayne gretzky, howe, lemeiux, yzerman and so on
